About Glen W. Sutcliffe

Glen W. Sutcliffe is a native Washingtonian who truly knows the distinctive neighborhoods throughout the Washington metropolitan area.  Licensed to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia since 1999, he has dedicated himself to being one of the most knowledgeable Realtors, which is demonstrated by the following honors:

CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) – achieved by less than 4% of all Realtors nationwide;

GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) – earned by less than 10% of Washington-area Realtors;

ABR® (The Accredited Buyer Representative) – accomplished by only 4% of all Realtors;

SRES® The Seniors Real Estate Specialists – earned by only 4% of all Realtors, this accreditation focuses on the fastest growing market in real estate;

One of 15 Realtors selected to the inaugural Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors’ (GCAAR) Leadership Institute;

Former two-term member of GCAAR's Grievance Committee, which is responsible for reviewing ethics complaints and arbitration requests;

Member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation from which he has received special training in historic real estate; and,

Member of the D.C. Historical Society, D.C. Preservation League and numerous citizens and community associations.

Though Glen is proud of these distinctions, the hundreds of pleased clients along with their trust are the successes he values most. 

Glen was born and raised in the D.C. area. His parents, retired from the academic world, are Deaf. Naturally, his first language as a child was American Sign Language.
